Well. I’m not even going to get into why I haven’t written for 2 months. I’m just going to back to writing.
I have officially been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and the diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis has been retracted. I’m waiting to get into see a different Reumatologist to get a second opinion. I thought the diagnosis was bogus until I started looking into things. I have almost every symptom listed. I also thought that hang a higher than normal rheumatoid factor meant that I had to have a rheumatic condition of some sort, but apparently because there are lots of people in my family with that kind of arthritis, I can have a positive on the RF test even if I don’t have a condition that relates to that.
So today day number 2 of extreme pain and discomfort. I blame it on the random weather(sun, rain, sun, rain, clouds, rain sun…so on and so forth), and working two eight hour shifts right before my weekend started. I need to get a massage I think. The muscles in my back are completely knotted up, then combine some nasty nerve and bone pain in there. A headache severe enough that it could be classified as a migraine. Tremors and nausea. It just sucks all around. I won’t be on this machine long today.
I stared taking Wellbutrin a month and a half ago to REALLY kick my smoking habit. My doctor and I have agreed that I will continue to take it for it’s antidepressants purposes. Also has me back on anti-anxiety meds, Adavan this time, taking as needed. I also have muscle relaxants now, which help quite a bit, it’s called cyclobenzaprine. It has dropped my daily painkiller intake dramatically.
I bought myself a present for quitting smoking. A fancy newfangled Android phone. I can do all sorts of fun things on it. Like track my daily symptoms, because I can never remember them when I get home.
That’s all for now.
Meds: cyclobenzaprine x 1, anti nausea meds, lidocaine, tiger balm, extra strength tylenol x 1
